The Lucky Duck Lottery is the PA Research Foundation’s revamped Art Union program, with funds raised through ticket sales
supporting
life-saving cancer research at the PA Hospital Campus.
1 in 2 Australian men and women will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85; this is a disease that does not discriminate.
Thanks to support from the Lucky Duck Lottery, we are able to fund research projects which investigate breast, prostate, bladder, skin and
head and neck cancer, with a focus on improving patient outcomes through new treatments and better diagnostics.
Whilst cancer survival rates have improved, sadly 31% of patients will not survive five-years post diagnosis; the only way we can lower this statistic is through research . With your support, we can continue to raise vital funds for our dedicated medical research teams.
By purchasing a Lucky Duck Lottery ticket, you are helping us continue to invest in life-saving cancer research projects to ensure today’s research becomes tomorrow’s cure.
In 2019, after 12 years of running our Art Union Program through Australia’s Biggest Duck Race for Cancer Research, we retired our noble fleet of racing ducks and concluded our annual Duck Race celebration event at West End, moving in a new direction and introducing our Lucky Duck Lottery to create a bigger impact with the funds raised through this fundraising initiative.
Lucky Duck Lottery will be held at least 4 times a year providing even more chances of winning a prize. The lottery draws will have
fewer tickets than our previous Art Union format, significantly increasing your chances of winning a fantastic prize!
More draws + fewer tickets = lots of Lucky Ducks!
